What is Electron and Discovery of Electron || RiskyHistory

Hey There, if you suffering the internet to search What is Electron and Discovery of Electron, So don’t worry you come right place. And, you will know here all about What is the electron and Discovery of Electron.
So without time-wasting let’s start now:---

Thomson explained What Is Electron and Discovery Of Electron

ElectronWHAT IS ELECTRON?

The electron is a subatomic particle, with a negative electric charge.
   Or
The electron is a negatively charged particle found in the atoms of all the elements.

 DISCOVERY OF ELECTRON

The existence of an electron in an atom was shown by J.J Thomson in 1897.
Thomson passed electricity at high voltage through gas at very 'low pressure'(much of the air pump out of the tube) taken in a discharge tube. Streams of minute particles were given out by cathode rays (negative electrode). These streams of a particle are called cathode rays. The mass and charge of the cathode rays particles do not depend on the nature of gas taken in the discharge tube.

Discovery Of Electron

The gas taken in the discharge tube consists of atoms and all atoms contain electrons. When the high electrical voltage applied, the electrical energy pushes out some of the electrons from the atoms of the gas. These fast-moving electrons form cathode rays. But, the formation of cathode rays shows that one of the subatomic particles present in all the atoms is the negatively charged Electron.
